Oded Turgeman- DIRECTOR
A graduate of the Sam Spiegal Film & Television School, Jeruesalem, Israel, where he won scriptwriting prizes in 2002 and 2004 for films that subsequently screened in 90 festivals, and he wrote and directed two short films shown on Israeli television and Film Festivals. Over the past two years, Oded has conceptualized and directed three music videos for top Israeli artists, directed nationally broadcast TV commercials and directed a pilot for Primetime Israeli Television. Oded previously was a recording artist and performed on stage all over Israel.
Nicolas Emiliani- PRODUCER
Originally from Cartagena, South America and Raised in Virginia he has worked on many commercials, music videos, & films. He was the VIP Travel & Celebrity Auction Coordinator for Quincy Jones “We Are the Future Concert” in Rome. Recently he produced the Music video for the Lakeshore Entertainment film Underworld: Evolutions that was nominated for a Music Video Production Award for best Crossover. He has just gotten back from China where a film he produced for the American Film Institute won the top Honor.
Daniel Klein- SCREENWRITER
In 2000, Daniel founded and served as the Creative Director for MeeWee Entertainment, a children’s company that produces uplifting Hip-Hop music and live shows for kids ages 3-8. He has taught second grade in an English as a Second Language program, with children who recently immigrated from around the world. Daniel spent a year as a production assistant on the staff of Fox’s The Simpsons, and also worked on the set of Gracie Films’s As Good As It Gets. In 1996 Daniel graduated from Duke University with degrees in History & English.
Kimby Caplan- CINEMATOGRAPHER
Kimby received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado where she made half a dozen award winning experimental Films. After a skiing hiatus, she moved to Dallas, Texas to pursue a Masters degree in Film Production at Southern Methodist University. Her masters film LISTEN, a personal documentary about what it means to be Deaf, received First place at the Black Maria Film Festival, and was qualified for an Academy Award and went on to win a Bronze Medal at the 2005 Student Academy Awards in the Documentary category.
Jason Schwab- EDITOR
A native of Northern NJ, Jason graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a degree in Visual and Media Arts with a concentration in his favorite subject, Film. Jason has edited a variety of short films, both at Emerson and currently at AFI. His current project is a comedic short film with the producers of the TV show "Monk." Eventually he would like to edit comedic feature films for a living. Aside from editing, Jason has done extensive Production Assistant work, from the set of New Line's "Cellular" to the editing room of TNT's "The Wool Cap." He is also an avid photographer and DVD collector, with nearly 300 classic and/or current films lining his shelves.
